After the success of Fashion, people are really curious about this one. “Jail” is more realistic and is expected to be a medium budget gritty affair.

The movie is a Bhandarkar Entertainments & Percept Pictures combined baby. Other than Manoj Bajpai and Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mugdha Godse would also been seen amongst the other start cast.

Neil Nitin Mukesh almost has the same look as that of Saif in the movie Omkara. He almost looks bald with the new short hair cut.

The filmmaker is known for not repeating the same lead actresses that he works with in the past. Though Konkona Sen Sharma, being an exception to the rule, as it seems that she is the ace directors
favorite. She was spotted in page 3 and then in Traffic Signal & she had a glimpse in the movie Fashion as well. Madhur Bhandarkar, being appreciative of the talent that Mugdha Godse screened in this last
movie fashion, has confirmed her to be the lead for his next production Jail. She is playing the lady to Neil Nitin Mukesh.

Madhur Bhandarkar, spoke of Mugdha Godse to be in a semi glam role in the movie. He added that she is not a part of the movie because of the glamour quotient. Revealing anything more than that could unfold the plot, hence he zipped thereafter. He emphasized on the point that her role was not restricted to singing songs and being romantic with the hero, her contribution in the plot was more critical than that. Like
many other hits that Madhur Bhandarkar has given, jail comes across as a promising one as well.

Jail shall be ready to hit screens by September-October.
